Ceramic Studio Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

Assumption of Risk: I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree that participating in ceramic studio activities, including but not limited to the use of pottery wheels, tools, sharp tools, and other related equipment, involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury or other damages. I understand that these risks cannot be eliminated even with the best practices and procedures.

Release of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the ceramic studio activities, such as events, workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Kitte Club Ceramics Studio, it’s owner Jessie Young, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether resulting from negligence or otherwise, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in such activities.

Potential Damage of work: I understand that there is a possibility of my work created during the workshops can potentially be damaged or destroyed in the kiln firing and or while in the studio at anytime. I understand that work may not turn out exactly as planned - these are things I, Jessie Young, can not control due to the nature of ceramics.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kitte Club Ceramics Studio, it’s owner Jessie Young, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the ceramic studio activities both during and after my workshop. This includes my time in the studio and the work created within the studio.

Photo/Video Release: I grant Kitte Club Ceramics Studio permission to use photographs or videos taken during my participation in the studio for promotional or educational purposes. I understand that I will not receive any compensation for such use.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver and release of liability and fully understand its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
